Edina Pasic, a compassionate woman, responded to an urgent call to rescue a frightened puppy struggling on a lawn. The timid pup, later named Rossie, appeared to have been in an accident, resulting in broken hind legs. Crying out in pain, Rossie looked at her rescuers with pleading eyes, unaware they were there to help. The team quickly transported her to a veterinary station where x-rays revealed the extent of her injuries, necessitating surgery to install fixators.

The surgery the next day was successful, and Rossie now had fixators on both hind legs. Despite still being scared and often hiding in a corner, the veterinary team provided her with exceptional care. Over the following days, Rossie began to trust them, and her bravery and resilience astonished everyone. She soon started “walking” again, marking the beginning of her journey to full recovery.

As time passed, Rossie continued to make progress, gradually building her trust in people. Though still shy, she had a lot of love to give, and the team caring for her grew deeply fond of her. After 38 days, Rossie had made a complete recovery and could walk on all four paws with ease.

Eventually, Rossie was ready to start a new chapter in her life and was adopted by a loving family in England. From a scared and injured little girl to a happy and confident big girl, Rossie’s journey was truly remarkable. Her bravery, resilience, and capacity to love inspired everyone around her.
