Maggie was discovered in Lebanon with 17 bullet wounds, her eyes shot out, her ear severed, and her jaw broken. When the 5-year-old dog was found abandoned and tied to a box, she was also pregnant.

Late last year, Maggie was rescued by the Wild At Heart Foundation, an animal charity. After hearing her horrific story, Kasey from Brighton decided to give Maggie a better life.

There was, however, one obstacle: getting Maggie safely from Lebanon to the United Kingdom. This was accomplished through an online campaign that enlisted the help of millions of people worldwide. Eventually, Maggie moved into her new home and now has a family in Sussex, UK.

Known as the Wunder Dog on the Internet, Maggie has amassed 500k followers on Instagram. She now visits hospitals, care homes, and universities to spread a positive message.

Maggie is not just any dog; she is now an official therapy dog. To become a therapy dog, Maggie underwent numerous tests and examinations. Kasey, her owner, celebrated on Instagram when Maggie passed her exams with flying colors.

Kasey wrote, “Yesterday, Maggie and I met with her assessor, @maherandhounddogtraining. She flaunted her stuff, gave it her best, and she PASSED!” Maggie has been authorized as a therapy dog by @underdoginternational.

Maggie’s commitment to spreading love and positivity is beautiful and heartwarming. Despite surviving such inhumane torture, she continues to bring joy to many lives. Her story is nothing short of brilliant, and we humans have much to learn from Maggie and other animals.

May she live a loved and happy life. It seems God had another plan for this girl, and she is on her path to fulfilling it! So happy she was saved and is now loved God bless her…

Maggie is a sweet, brave dog who has found a wonderful forever home. To learn more about Maggie, check out her Instagram page.
